The Dovecot server used in our EGroupware mail package has received a security update and should therefore be updated to the current version 2.3.15 immediately.
Unfortunately, version 2.3.15 has a small bug that causes the mail server to crash in connection with our push script. The problem can be circumvented by a small change in the mentioned script. It is important that the adapted version of the script is done BEFORE the automatic Watchtower / Docker container update, otherwise the mail server is no longer accessible!
If you use our Debian/Ubuntu egroupware-mail package you only have to update it beforehand via apt update && apt upgrade to update it.
If you only use our Dovecot container, you have to update the script manually:
We will release the Dovecot container tomorrow evening (29 June 2021), so you should do the above mentioned update before.
