Hello everybody,
we have released a new maintenance relaease 23.1.20250416.
This update contains a large number of commits (649). It is a rebase of the master development branch.
Users with their own applications in particular should test the update thoroughly.
Release notes:
- API/eTemplate: fix performance degradation over time due to memory-leaks in client-side JavaScript code
- API/eTemplate: new webcomponents for file upload and templates
- Calendar: allow to subscribe to / show external calendars (ics files or CalDAV collections)
- Calendar: fix drag-n-drop for Safari browser
- Calendar: fix notifications contained all recurrences as exceptions
- Calendar: fix flickering/looping of planner in various situations
- InfoLog: new config to give responsible user access to linked contacts
- VIDOTEACH: allow to upload and annotate mp3 audio files
- Addressbook/REST Api: fix error unsetting birthday / anniversary type=âbirthâ
- Addressbook: hide account-name column for non-admins, unless otherwise configured in app-configuration of addressbook

- API/Mail/Collabora: fix some cases of not available session password since storing it encrypted in the session
- Login page: replace Twitter with Bluesky and Mastodon in our social media links

This Maintenance update is provided via Docker container.
If you have problems with this update, you can easily revert to the previous version:

New functions / preferences or other important things:
- Calendar: allow to subscribe to / show external calendars (ics files or CalDAV collections)
It is now possible to subscribe to external calendars.
The appointments are read-only! Edits are overwritten the next time they are synchronised.
This allows you to integrate your private calendar into the company calendar or the waste calendar, for example.
The calendars can be integrated from ics or CalDAV resources and updated periodically.
At the beginning you have to load/sync the external calendar manually.
The calendar must be reloaded (F5) for the colour to be applied.

In addition to videos and PDFs, it is now also possible to upload audio files to VIDOTEACH and comment on them.

The âAccountâ column is now hidden in the address book. The column is visible to admins by default and can be made available to other groups:
