The EGroupware team is working hard to keep our estimated schedule for the new EGroupware release this autumn. We are happy for the progress so far and hope we can share exiting software news with you soon.

New Active Directory interface
We have improved EGroupware’s connection to the Active Directory. Previously only the user names and corresponding passwords were authenticated. Currently the users and groups can be read directly from the AD Server and managed through EGroupware.
AD interface improvements are available with the latest EPL packages. If you are in need of our support or consulting, our team is pleased to assist you further!
New EGroupware File Backup
EGroupware provides an additional Admin access to all files attached to EGroupware’s applications.
This Backup mountpoint can be accessed e.g. via WebDAV connection for providing an additional file backup directed to your desktop or local server.
The Backup directory is visible in EGroupware’s File Manager to a specific Admin group and can be used as an alternative way to browse files, as application folders are structured by ID numbers of application entries.
