[EGW 1.8] Error exporting contacts on VCard

I’m using debian jessie.

I’m trying to export contacts in VCard format from my EGW 1.8 installation,
leading to ‘file not found’ error page.

Looking at apache log i see:

so, after that i’ve installed the debian package ‘php-horde-browser’,
restarted apache (to make sure there’s no cache trouble) and after
that page still does not work, but error now is:

What i’m missing? Thanks.

Just installing is probably not enough, as 1.8 does not autoload it.

Anyway, 1.8 is dead, update to 14.3.

Just installing is probably not enough, as 1.8 does not autoload it.

…probably is also some class name mismatch; anyway reading the code i’ve
understood that simply use the Horde Browser class to determine thebrowser
charset, defaulting to UTF8.
I’ve simply commented out the code, because i use UTF8. Now exporting to
vcard works again.

Hello,
I am facing the same problem. I need to export the contacts from EGW 1.8 in VCF format.
Could you more explicitly specify, which code you commented out, to get the VCF export working, please?
It would greatly help me not to reinvent your wheel…
