Hi Philip,
$GLOBALS[‘egw’]->contenthistory is not instanciated in setup.
But I think that’s not causing your problem, as updates from setup only
happen if you create the first admin account from setup, that’s surely
not your problem with SyncML.
I checked updates from within addressbook and admin >> manage accounts,
the contenthistory is always called.

Hello,
when a account relevant addressbook entry is modified, for example a users
telephone numer is changed, the egw_api_content_history is not updated. This
causes issues with syncml synchronising user accounts. (the change is not
synced).
This seems to be caused in function save in class.addressbook_bo.inc.php,
// we dont update the content-history, if we run inside setup
(admin-account-creation)
if(!($this->error = parent::save($to_write)) &&
is_object($GLOBALS[‘egw’]->contenthistory))
For what reason can this not be run inside setup ? I do not understand the
condition for not updating.
