We are developping an app that displays ressource usage on project,
something like the calendar events, but instead of displaying events we
display projects associated to user.
Browsing the calendar app as example, we recreated the calendar design
in order to have two views : Year and Month.
We’d like to switch between the 2 views using a combobox, but the use
off the combobox does not work.
We setup this combobox using calendar method in eGW 14.2 :
- Infunctionsidebox_menu() we define $option and add the select box :
$this->_select_box(‘displayed view’,‘view’,$options);
- Call display_sidebox($appname,$menu_title,$file);
Then when displaying, the view and select box do not synchronize.
I used firefox dev tool to poll network events, nothing is sent when
changing options, whereas things are sent with the app calendar.
As a global question, it is hard for us to understand how are
implemented control events, like “clicked” or “select change”, I used to
implement the “onchange” attribute.
Is there anything else to do in order to register the options ‘value’,
and the method to call (client side ?)?

note : we are still making 14.2 changes on sourceforge downloaded
sources, but hope to fork 14.2 branch until september and add this type
of stuff.
