eGW right tool for task?

Hi everyone,

I want to install eGroupware on a small NAS (Synology DS-107+). Before
I try it though, I wanted to know if eGW is the thing I need/want.
I want to be able to sync my contacts (Names, Numbers, eMailadresses),
my Dates (Date with some kind of extra info, minimum header) and maybe
my Todos (just a list)
between my Computer using THunderbird with Sunbird/Lightning and my Nokia E66.
Can eGW do this without me having to spend a week configuring my PC,
the NAS and the cellphone? Would eGW be able to run of a NAS, without
it being unresponsive?
Finally, my roomates use Windows (probably Outlook mail client) and
OSX (Mail, AdressBook and iCal). Can eGW be configured to run in such
a heterogen enviornment?

Well I can confirm that eGW works well with Nokia E series phones. I
have a Nokia E71 and it worked straight away “out of the box” with
eGW, no hassles at all.

I connect via the WiFi on my home router when at home or it works
equally well via a GPRS data connection when on the move.

One final question: what information are you able to sync?

Currently I’m synchronising just contacts and calendar, that’s not to
say that other stuff doesn’t work I just haven’t tried/needed it.
