OK, I tried a fresh install on another computer and I have the same login loop. It is definitely on our server. Here is the log:
Tue Apr 15 2008 20:32:59 GMT-0700 (US Mountain Standard Time) [DEBUG] Logging service started successfully
Tue Apr 15 2008 20:34:01 GMT-0700 (US Mountain Standard Time) [DEBUG] function initSynchVariables()
url:[http://xxx.xxx.xxx/icalsrv/groupdav.php/addressbook/]
host:[xxx.xxx.xxx]
Tue Apr 15 2008 20:34:28 GMT-0700 (US Mountain Standard Time) [WARN] Warning!
You either pressed Cancel instead of providing user and password or the server responded 401 for another reason.
I do not have EGW installed to sub folder of the web host. It is in the root folder not under /egroupware. I do not believe this would be the issue but âŠ
I do have this error on the web host:
PHP Warning: imap_open(): Couldnât open stream {mail.stdg.us:143/notls}INBOX in /local/home/xxx/xxx.xxx.xxx/phpgwapi/inc/class.auth_mail.inc.php on line 76
There is no date on this error and I can login to the EGW web application just fine.
The EGW system test does give me this error:
Checking php.ini: mbstring.func_overload = 7: ini_get(âmbstring.func_overloadâ)='0â
The mbstring.func_overload = 7 is needed to fully support unicode (utf-8) or other multibyte-charsets.
*** Please make the following change in your php.ini (/xxx/local/config/httpd/php5): mbstring.func_overload = 7
*** AND reload your webserver, so the above changes take effect !!!
Could this cause the problem?
I am currently updating to 1.4.004 from 1.4.003. Iâll post back with an update.
Kevin
No change with the new version and the corrected mbstring.func_overload = 7 value. I still go into a login loop and get the error "PHP Warning: imap_open(): Couldnât open stream {xxx.xxx.xxx:143/notls}INBOX phpgwapi/inc/class.auth_mail.inc.php on line 76
Any ideas anyone?
