Email account not automatically configured with IMAP Authentication

Hi all

I use the egroupware-epl-14.1 version (centos6 and more exactly SME
Server 9) and I have something Odd (it seems to me)

With the previous version (egroupware-1.8), each time I performed a
login (with the imap authentication) all the emails settings of the
new users was created. Out of the box I could use the felamimail email
client.

This seems not the case with egroupware-epl or I have something that
doesn’t work. Indeed I can perform an IMAP authentication to
egroupware (from the login screen) but when I want to use the email
client of egroupware I have : “Account not found! (acc_id=NULL)”

I have to manually set the email parameters to get it works for each
user, once done all is good.

I have searched with google but all that went back was problem with
pear-horde-imap. I repeat, once it is set, i can send and receive emails.

I have no warns in the check-setup of config-admin, all is green but i
can find this when i log in /var/log/messages

Problem is, you have no email account configured, or at least not one
for everyone.

You probably configured individual accounts for each user.

As an admin you can create a single account for all your users, which
use EGroupware’s credentials to authenticate with IMAP server. As you
authenticate agains IMAP in the first place, every new user will work
out of the box.
