Email Attachments Photo Blank - Bug Report

Hello, when opening a photo attached to email the screen is blank. (See attached screenshot)

Other attachments work fine e.g. PDF’s. Work around is to download photo attachment to local disk.

I have been unable to find relevant errors in the Apache error log.

I cant reproduce that with e.g. png’s, what (mine-)type of photo is
that. Could be browser does not display it. Can you check if your
browser displays it, if not opened directly from mail.

We have a blacklist already containing eg. TIFF files, as they can not
be displayed by most browsers, but also have an image/* mime-type.

Here are all the mime types I have tried that have the same symptom:
Content-Type: image/png
Content-Type: image/gif
Content-Type: image/jpeg

I verified the issue in Chrome and IE.

Per your suggestion I did verify the browser can open the image directly. My installation is an upgrade from 14.2 to 16.1

Since you are unable to reproduce it likely not much that can be done. I will continue to explore this issue and will post updates.

Is that a package installation?

If not, maybe you missed some dependencies …
