Hello Folks,
after the upgrade from 1.8.0.2 to 16.1.2, the notifications for
agenda, and alarms are not being sent.
The module email admins it not there anymore?
No, EMailAdmin is now integrated into regular Admin. Just right-click on
an account in Admin and select Mail-account from context menu.
If the account has multiple mail-accounts, you can change between them
via the first selectbox.
If you SMTP Server only supports authenticated SMTP, you might need an
extra “SMTP only” account, as passwords in regular mail-accounts are -
for security reasons - encrypted with session-password of user and
therefore not available for eg. asynchronious notifications. There’s a
tutorial video on our website explaining how to create a "SMTP only"
mail-account.
