EmailAdmin custom field

Hia hope any one can help,

am trying to use the emailadmin program on egroupware to create a default policy for all users however, my IMAP server only accepts usernames in the format user-domain-com instead of user@domain.com.

I was hoping you can help me, if you can either direct me to where I can modify the script so I can allow the form entry for custom e.g. how is $username populated and can i replace ThisDomain with -mydomain-co-uk, or is it possible to have a seperate field for custom population of username and domain.

Any help would be appreciated,

The default behaviour is that the egw domain is whatever is on the right
side of “@”. If your default egw domain (you can modify at any time in
header.inc.php or setup/) matches your mail domain (i.e. “domain.com” or
whatever) your users should be able to login directly by using just the
user. If you have a multiple domain egw installation, then you should
enable to provide a dropdown box in setup/, header section (login at the
lower part, not the upper). Maybe after this (if you try and still
doesn’t work for you), you have to login in the upper part of setup and
specify the mail domain.

Or, you may be using the feature, that you specify the Users Username to be
used for
Authentication by creating an eMail-Profile for every single user and use
the option of
a predefined user/password for authentication.
(which is only desireable, when It is not that many users to administer.)
