Enable SyncML logging

Hi All,

What do I need to do to enable syncml logging?

I’ve set $conf[‘log’][‘enabled’] = true; in /usr/share/egroupware/phpgwapi/inc/horde/config/conf.php

This is a 1.6 system on Centos 5.5 installed via YUM repository.

The file /tmp/egroupware_syncml-1.6.log never gets created.

I can see some things being logged to the apache error log, which aren’t errors really - just a partial log of the connection coming in to the server…

What have I missed?

I’ve trying to work out why ToDo items get deleted during sync on a Symbian based N97. The appear in EGW but vanish from the 'phone. The phone is set to two way sync. Other things sync just fine

Look for your php error log. And if necessary, check php.ini’s error_log
property.

Are you using ./caltasks repository? How old are your todo items, you
may need to modify “Calendar History Period” from the SyncML preferences.

Hi, Perfect - I was using ./calendar and switching to ./caltasks fixed it.
