Error in Cron logs

I discovered I’m getting two warning emails from cron. I am experiencing
no issues with egroupware 14.2 running on Ubuntu 12.04.

Cron www-data@hamlet /usr/bin/php -q
/usr/share/egroupware/phpgwapi/cron/asyncwrapper.php
Cron www-data@hamlet php -qC
/usr/share/egroupware/phpgwapi/cron/asyncservices.php default

Here is the text for both messages:

PHP Deprecated: mysql_pconnect(): The mysql extension is deprecated and will be removed in the future: use mysqli or PDO instead in /usr/share/egroupware/phpgwapi/inc/adodb/drivers/adodb-mysql.inc.php on line 367

Is this something in the current Egroupware or is this something left
over from a previous version?

I think 1.8 also already complained if you didn’t have the mysqli or PDO
extensions installed.

Both msqli and PDO appear to be installed.

Checking my php5 configuration both mysqli and PDO are installed.
