Esync-blocking.log and only certain devices?

I have several users’ phones that make a lot of “still blocking” lines in this log
<files>/esync-blocking.log

The egw version in question is old, 14.3

Does anyone know what determines this “blocking”? Are they accessing to too quickly or too frequently?

It seems like only newer phones are doing this.

The blocking is not problem per se, it blocks concurrent access to same storage, happening when Android ActiveSync trys to sync with multiple threads.

Any idea why only certain phones are ending up in this log?

So far, it’s been only Android, specifically Samsung Galaxy phones.

Maybe read my posting above: Android ActiveSync trys to sync with multiple threads

iOS for example only uses a single thread and therefore a single connection to EGroupware.

Yes I saw your post. All my users are on Android and it seems only newer versions of Android are causing these errors.

No response is needed… maybe just something to be aware of.
