Etemplate problems?

I have a custom type for addressbook, called ‘Property’, and it uses a template called ‘addressbook.Property.edit’. (I check in the custom fields and verify that this template is assigned to these ‘Property’ items.)

In recent revisions (testing r43883 right now) EGW doesn’t seem to be able to find this template anymore. I’m not sure how to get this working again.

Error says:

WARNING: Template “addressbook.Property.edit” not found, using default template instead. Update the template name in custom fields section!

I’d appreciate any tips or tricks to work around this,

First thing to try is etemplate -> ‘Export XML’. The file should go in
addressbook/templates/default/

Doing this got my custom “Properties” tab back, but it contains nothing. Is there something else I need to do?

Both I think… It’s a custom tab that should contain all the custom fields that exist when you change addressbook type to ‘Properties’.

Have a look into the javascript error log. It might say something about
tried to load a template file and not finding it.

What file name am I looking for in the javascript logs?

I’m not sure, but probably something with ‘properties’ in it.
Also, I think the log level is currently turned up pretty high, so it
should be giving a log message as it loads each tab:
Loading template from XML: addressbook.edit.general …
Loading template from XML: addressbook.edit.upload…
etc.

You should also be able to use the network tab to see which text/xml files
are requested.
