Check your settings for the trash-folder …
If it is a account created through manage identities/email accounts you
need to select the trash folder there (edit settings - right taf [folders]

I hit a bug on one account, at my system. When user click on "empty trash"
link in Felamimail, it cleaned INBOX, instead of Trash.
If I logged as admin, it working as expected. All the settings pretty
similar, including “Manage Folders”, these are by defaults.
How can I find the reason?
