Felamimail + cyrus + sasl_pwcheck_method + sasl_mech_list

Hi,

I use cyrus as imap server and saslauth authentication.
Egw 1.4.102 + subversion update.
php 5.2.5
pear 1.6.2

When I setup to use only LOGIN auth method (in the imap.conf),
felamimail able to connect to the imap server.
When I add CRAM-MD5 and/or DIGEST-MD5, it always fails.

Could you give me a hint, how can I check/catch this problem?

Snippet from my imapd.conf (working):
sasl_pwcheck_method: saslauthd
sasl_mech_list: PLAIN LOGIN

Snippet from my imapd.conf (not working):
sasl_pwcheck_method: saslauthd
sasl_mech_list: PLAIN LOGIN CRAM-MD5 DIGEST-MD5

Auth. error log:
Nov 16 23:23:07 mail imap[5929]: badlogin: www [10.0.1.17] DIGEST-MD5
[SASL(-13): user not found: no secret in database]

Imap server and webserver are on different hosts.

OK, I found the hint in the Sieve.php at line 128:
//if you have problems using DIGEST-MD5 authentication please comment
the line above and uncomment the following line

I sweeped out DIGEST/CRAM from Sieve.php/Imapprotocol.php and it is
working well.

Probably it would be nice to select the preferred authentication method
from the user interface from a “hardcoded” list.
