Felamimail (EGW 1.3.015) and automatic creation of folders

Hi all,

I have installed EGW 1.3.015.

In Felamimail the folders “Sent, Trash, Draft, …” are created automatically.
Is it possible to disable this function ?

i disabled it by deselcting cyrus administration under emailadmin. dunno if that’s the reight way to do it, but atleast the folders doesn’t get created.

i’ll be darned, that used to be the way to do it, since i run trunk only in testing i hadn’t noticed that it creates thoose folders everytime you access felamimail. tried to delete them, only to see them be recreated on each new login maybe the developers can’t tell us how to disable this not so wanted (atleast in my case) “feature” ?

I want to know how to do it too…
or, at least, how to translate the folder’s names.

I will have problems with those names / my users, in my idiom…

You can have a look at
egroupware/felamimail/inc/class.bofelamimail.inc.php near line 858

May be you would write a patch, that hooks to the preferences page…

hehe, me write a patch? don’t think so i can barerly write my name on a keyboard. But atleast i figured out how to localize the folder names, so now instead of drafts & sent etc it creates swedish named folders, i replaced line 856 in egroupware/felamimail/inc/class.bofelamimail.inc.php near line with:

foreach(array(‘Utkast’, ‘Trash’, ‘Skickat’, ‘Spam’, ‘Mallar’) as $personalFolderName) {

which are the folders that cyrus create on users first login anyway, so it doesn’t matter if they get “recreated”.

thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Anyone that can inegrate it to gui? change of foldernames for autocreate that is, would be a nice feature. 1. to enable disable and 2. foldernames.
