Hi,
I’ve experimented just the same problem you describe here. I solved it by adding 127.0.0.1/32 to the mynetworks variable in main.cf , the postfix main configuration file. After that I can send email to external domains with no problem.

YES and YES, I can send emails to different email addresses
which dosen't belong to our domain using horde webmail. Even
KMail and thunderbird are working well with that smtp to send
emails. BUT felamimail has problem to send emails rather than
the default domain set in emailadmin. please help to fix the
problem or is it a bug in egroupware
