I have given myself admin privileges, and when I try to add the Samba shares
for my users I get permission denied? I made sure on the eBox Server that I
have all the right of admin and still I can’t change anything?

are you talking about samba-admin?
About this one I dont know.

Filemanager in 1.6.002 is able to mount Filesystem pathes into filemanager
via command line tool.
filemanager/cli.php
you can use the setup admin to authenticate, or any other user that is
registered via Setup -> Edit Current Configuration
but you need commandline access to your machine.
