Filemanager default columns

Hi all
There is a check box “As default” (or something similar, I have localized version) in Filemanager where one can set up what fields (columns) wants to be shown. I suspected that if I check this box, all users will see only columns that I marked to be seen. But it doesn’t work this way. When user log in, she does not see columns that I set as default.
Is this a feature or a bug?
Is there any other way to set default columns to be shown for all users?

Hi Robert,

if a user has already set column-selection, the default will not
overwrite that

Hi Birgit.
I tried it but it doesn’t work this way.
I checked only Name and Comment columns to be shown and set this As default.
User_A didn’t have access to Filemanager. First, I added him access to
Filemanager application.
I loged in with User_A, go to Filemanager and I got also Owner, Group
and other columns shown.

I use egw 1.9.001 from SVN, updated today, users are avtenticated over LDAP.

Filemanager was setup from scratch. In what SQL table this setting is
written? Maybe there is something to look for?..
