Filemanager "The page isn't redirecting properly"

For some reason im getting the following error when i try to connect to the filemanager:

“The page isn’t redirecting properly”

The output address it leaves is:

…/egroupware/index.php?menuaction=filemanager.filemanager_ui.index&path=%2Fhome%2Fadminbe&msg=The+requested+path+%2Fhome%2Fuser+is+not+available.

Not sure what ive done wrong.

Any help?

first check with the database.
then depending on the result, there are some solutions to the problem.
One would be to insert a new line to egw_sqlfs matching the needs
another would be to enter
/egroupware/index.php?menuaction=filemanager.filemanager_ui.index&path=%2Fhome
and create the folder there as superuser, and add sufficient access

Note filemanager operates on a VIRTUAL Filesystem. so what you see at the
interface does not match
the storage representation as you see it at userlevel

[adminbe]

Now that’s interesting, I haven’t looked in the database:

but when i goto: /egroupware/index.php?menuaction=filemanager.filemanager_ui.index&path=%2Fhome

this reports the following error:

“Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.”

Also from the Admin>edit users account>ACL rights for user for file manager> the pop up window outputs a seriees of warnings:

Not sure if this is related, im sure the file manager was working when i first installed it, nad i havent messed around with the configuration?

You should get a list of all users homes

if not something is broken.
Depending on how much is broken, you may be able to recreate the entry for
home.
Note that fs_id and fs_dir, and all the rest (but fs_created, fs_modified)
must exactly match.

If the entrys for the users homedirectories are missing too, it gets tricky
