If you use the correct URL (from 1.6 on it’s just /webdav.php/ after the
regular EGroupware URL), the problem is most likely that you are NOT
using PHP with Apache2 mod_php and the Webserver or (Fast)CGI
implementation you are using requires extra measures for basic
authentication.
So either use mod_php or google for the necessary fixes for the
environment you are using.
Ralf
Hi,
I just installed the latest version of egroupware and egw-pear.
I would now like to access my file manager files through webdav from my
Ubuntu workstation. I tried to connect using GNOME’s Connect to Server
function with the following values:
Service Type: WebDAV (http)
Server: egw.mydomain.info/webdav.php
Port:
Folder: /home/marcus
Username: marcus
When I hit the “Connect” button I am asked for a password to authenticate.
However, when I enter my EGW password for the user “marcus”, it seems not to
work out, as I am repeatedly asked for the password…
The same is true when I try to connect from Windows XP…
any help appreciated.
bye
Marcus.
