Forwarded email with the russian attachments

Hello, I already wrote earlier but didn’t find the response. now I updated
system and didn’t wait corrections… there can be someone can answer?
We have the installed
EGroupware Version 1.8.004 (CE)
2.6.32-5-amd64
Debian 6.0.5

There is the strange error: at the forward of the mail with
the attachments, some (I underline - some) attachment names are distorted.
Example:
There is a letter with attachments(it has been created and sent too through
felamimail)

When it send other person, in sent it is saved already so:

Has tested on files “Пушкин.xls”, “Мушкин.xls” and “мПушкин.xls” - it is
erraticly went only “Пушкин.xls”… But happens and with other names of
files. To check all alphabet certainly there is no possibility. Has studied
a forum, but similar hasn’t found.

This is certainly a strange one. I seem to recall reading a similar problem about corrupt filenames this but I’ve had a quick search of the archive and can’t find it. I think your best bet now is to open a bug report http://community.egroupware.org/bugtracker

As a blind stab in the dark, have you checked all the character encodings are what they’re supposed to be? This might help if it’s a similar sort of issue http://egroupware.219119.n3.nabble.com/charset-windows-1256-tp3983890.html

Thanks a lot for a response. Probably I very long was going to make it, but I see that it is necessary to make it. If suddenly someone is interested and has similar problems, there is a record Tracker queue Bugs 3162
