Free software for palm sync

Hi,

Is there a free (gpled) software to sync a Palm with eGroupWare ?
I saw sync4j (Funambol) but for Palm it only synchronizes contact data.

Using Tomcat but need to do more? Need to support web services, security?

It’s even not possible to sync 100% correct with a commercial palm sync client… or maybe I was to stupid to do it

I still don’t understand why it is so difficult to develope a code for a clean palm synchronisation ? What can we do to motivate the developper to improve the code for the palm clients ?

That’s clear. But even commercial clients such as Synthesis do not work proper.
