Funambol and port 443

Hi all

I have installed EGW on an “internal” server (192.168.2.1)
To reach EGW from the Internet I use https://xxxx.xxxx.xxxx.xxxx/egroupware
To this purpose the port 443 on my firewall is redirected to the port 443 of the “internal” server.
All works ok.

The problem is whit funambol.
If I am on the internal network and I configure funambol to access directly the server (http://192.168.2.1/egroupware/rpc.php) funambol works ok.

But if I am on the Internet and I configure funambol to access through the port 443 (https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/egroupware/rpc.php) I receive an “Error in synchronization”.

Here is the log:

Did you setup a ssl context in your apache? If you did so here is the next question: Did you install a trusted server certificate or a self signed one? When you installed a self signed one you should import it into your certificate store in Windows. Otherwise the communication would be blocked. You could test your connection outside of your software client by hiting the site in a web browser … you would see this anwser page “You should access this URL only with a SyncML enabled device.”

the message is the same if i change the user password - so i think it doesn’t work to the correct login and it will be blocked before.
i have also insert the adress to the trused sites in IE - but doesn’t help
IE = version 7.
maybe there is a problem ?!?

That’s not enough I guess. You have to import the untrusted certificate into your certificate store.
