Installed EGW 1.6.001 on debian lenny using lenny-backports.
I have two domains - one I use mostly and one with about 6 users on it.
All works fine (thanks it’s mostly great and nearly works complete as an exchange killer!) except that syncing has some problems using funambol and syncml. I use the ./sifcontacts, ./sifcalendar settings.
I couldn’t find any direct solution when searching in depth.
Problem 1:
Contacts don’t sync completely correctly (with thunderbird 2.0.0.21 on windows at least) - adding a contact to Tbird and then syncing using Funambol 0.9 add-on sends the contact to EGW correctly but on the next sync the contact is duplicated again (and for every following time).
Adding the contact to egw and syncing produces it nicely in the Tbird addressbook. Modifying in Tbird and it will sync and update to Egw correctly.
Lightning 0.9.1 calendar syncs perfectly either way - updating an entry or adding a new entry on egw or TBird. Funambol does however seem to delete and then reinstate the entries on every sync even when they have been done before. I suspect it does that with contacts too.
Apologies, I haven’t checked other syncing versions except the funambol application on windows mobile 5. This seems to work as expected - adding a new contact there will update seamlessly with egw (and then with Tbird) with no apparent duplicates made on every sync.
-Is this a problem with the Tbird addon (funambol_mozilla_sync_client-0.9.1-tb+sb-win.xpi )?
Problem 2:
There is no connection to the second domain on the list in the headers.inc.php file, only the first one. Swapping the order of the domain in that file will allow whichever is first in the list to connect.
Can supply the debug files to help with both issues, but got some data in it so prefer to email directly.
