I need to create working groups that depend, in turn, on other groups, hierarchically.
We are in an implementation project of Kaizen-Lean, the methodology requires this structure

Kaizen and Lean (management) are well known to me. I work for an automotive supplier myself.
But I don’t understand why you have to map something with user groups.
At Kaizen (in Europe/Germany also: KVP Kontinuierlicher Verbesserungs Prozess / CIP Continual Improvement Process) I find responsible persons and task carriers. No structure.
In Lean management teams are formed. OK.
But that in the user administration of a groupware map? I do not understand that.

Are you looking for something where teams work together? Then you might find what you are looking for in the file manager or project manager.

What I’m looking for is an organization

COMPANY1-hierarchical GROUP-OPERATIONAL GROUP1
COMPANY1-hierarchical GROUP-OPERATIONAL GROUP2
COMPANY1-hierarchical GROUP-OPERATIONAL GROUP3

COMPANY2-hierarchical GROUP-OPERATIONAL GROUP1
COMPANY2-hierarchical GROUP-OPERATIONAL GROUP2

could solve it with longer group name, but it would be ideal to create subgroups

EGroupware is currently not supporting groups containing groups, though it is an interesting feature, as it is already supported in ActiveDirectory and LDAP (not much used there AFAIK).

If your interested in EGroupware adding support for that AND are willing to sponsor it with 1-2 days support budget to implement it, please let me know.
