Hi
I upgraded the machine I’m running egroupware on with new hardware and
now I’m in the process of re-installing egroupware. Egroupware itself is
running fine, I can login as user, add/delete contacts, events and so on.
Now I’m trying to sync my calendar and my addressbook with
- my android based smartphone using carddav-sync beta
- my KDE addressbook using the native carddav connector
This used to work without problems on the old installation, but not on
the new installation.
While caldav just works fine, I’ve had no success with the addressbook
so far. This is what I’m entering to configure my addressbook for
syncing with egroupware:
url: https://my.server.domain/egw/groupdav.php/addressbook
OR
url: https://my.server.domain/egw/groupdav.php/u.sername/addressbook
user: u.sername
password: mysecretpass
I’m very sure the credentials are correct, I can login with these and,
while I’m logged in into egroupware, I can access the groupdav-urls and
download the vcf files from my contact repository. But it doesn’t work
when I use this Information in the sync-app on my phone and it doesn’t
work form the KDE addressbook. It neither works, when I’m accessing the
url with my Browser: I get a username / password dialog but it only
shows me an empty addressbook.
I would be very happy to get some advice on how to get
contact-synchonization working again.
I’m running this software:
apache 2.4
php 5.5.7
egroupware: EGroupware Community Version 1.8.005
Phone: Samsung Galaxy S3 / carddav-sync beta
KDE Addressbook: 3.5.10

It looks like it trys to connect without a password.
Can someone with more insight help here?
