Hi Tim,
as Ralf is the maintainer of infolog, the best way is to send him your
patch - then he can/will decide if this goes into which
egroupware-branch …

I have made some changes to InfoLog to add some additional filters:
Personal - your items marked as private
Public - your items marked as public
Now - Items either started on or before today or items which should have
been completed on or before today
Undated - Undated tasks
I would like it if these could be included in the next build, as they are
essential to the way I (and I am sure) others work. How do I go about
getting them reviewed for possible inclusion?
Thanks
Tim

Subject: [eGroupWare-developers] Hello & InfoLog plans
Hello. My name is Tim, and I am new to this forum.
I have been running eGroupWare on my Laptop (one of those new Asus Eee
PCs) for a few weeks now. I mainly use InfoLog, but I have found that
one or two things are missing from it that I would like to have
available. And therefore, so that Ralf does not have to do everything
himself, I thought I would have a go at making the changes myself.
I hope this is acceptable, and that I am going around this the right way.
I am currently working on adding some additional filters. I then plan
to make the filter a little more dynamic (e.g. by allowing each user to
define their own filters).
I have a question about the current filters: the ‘privat/private’ filter
appears not to filter on private items (the filter comes up with
’public’ in it). Is the filter working correctly, or am I
misunderstanding what it is meant to be doing?
Thanks
Tim
