Project Manager currently supports adding Address Book, Calendar, InfoLog,
Resources, TimeSheet, Tracker applications as project elements in PM.
Question is: How to hook up our custom application to Project Manager to be
able to add it as one of the project elements?
Register it with EGroupware’s link-registry aka implement a
"search_link" hook, as described in egw_link class:

And evtl. a datasource class for your app
($app/inc/class.{$app}_datasource.inc.php
As example you can eg. look at timesheet or any other apps supporting
projectmanager.
