Hi, in a new installation of Egroupware 14.3.007 I can’t see
phpfreechat in the list of available applications.
Application shows as installed in setup
If I go to /egroupware/phpfreechat/phpfreechat, the program works
What I am missing?
As with all EGroupware applications: to “see” an application, you have
to grant run rights for it to a user or a group.
Right click on user in list or group in tree and select “Access
control”, select “Run rights for …” in selectbox in popup.
Click on [+] or [Add] button (which depends on your version) and check
Chat app. After new login user or group has the app available.
We are currently using EGW 1.6 (since 2009) and our only reason to
migrate to version 14 is the possibility of enabling chat inside the
application. I need to get this to work!
Makes a lot of sense to upgrade, 1.6 is ancient!
Maybe you should upgrade directly to 16.1, there will be a first release
candidate quite soon.
