How to move mail to trash?

Hi there,

How to move mail to trash?
It seems this error, “failed to copy Message(s) to INBOX.~trash: 2446 due to:‘NO, [TRYCREATE] Mailbox does not exist.’,” occurred on my browser.
Can anyone give a code snippet on this?
Don’t know why bofelamimail cant do the job: $this->bofelamimail->deleteMessages($this->uid);
Please advise.

It seems, that your mailserver is not able to create or access the
folder configured as Trashfolder. In your Case: INBOX.~trash
The message is originated by the communication with the IMAP Server
using the IMAP Protocol.
Either you configure a different trash-Folder, or you check with your
Mailserver, what is going on there.

IMAP server port
IMAP server login type	username (standard) username@domainname (Virtual MAIL ManaGeR) Username/Password defined by admin UserId@domain eg. u1234@domain

 

What did i missed on my settings?

In Email Prefs:
or similar in FolderSettings for a UserDefined Account (see Manage email accounts and identities)

But I assume, in general there are some settings there, but somehow the IMAP-Server is not able to access
the folder in question. The why, I can only guess, and right now i am clueless. Maybe your IMAP-Server Logfiles are telling you some more details?

The argument of bofelamimail deleteMessages should be an array.

$this->bofelamimail->deleteMessages(array($this->uid));
