I get two headers when I use next match widget

Hello, I have been trying to create a table using etemplate for some time. I have followed the day by day tutorial to build an application using etemplate. It works pretty well till I use the search_all() to display values. But I get two headers as soon as I create the next match widget. What is the mistake that I am making?? Has anyone seen this type of anomaly. Also could someone let me know where do we add the widget?? inside test.index.rows subtemplate or in test.index template. Please let me know regarding this, I am stuck here.

The nextmatch widget goes on test.index. test.index.rows gets
repeated, once for each row of data. This may be the cause of your
duplication, but I can’t say for sure.

Yes I feel the same way too. What could you suggest would be a possible
remedy. I can mail you a screen shot if that would make my issue clear. But
I am getting the header row twice, one of them gets filled with the rows and
other does not and I get the nextmatch widget only once. I had followed the
code corner tutorial and this was on day 5.

Any help regarding this would be great.

The nextmatch widget has the pagination buttons (|<, <, > >|) search,
filters, etc. It should be used only once, on the test.index page.

Your test.index.rows eTemplate should have a maximum of two rows. The
first row is optional, and contains the headers for the columns. It
will not display data, and you should not use ${row}[field] as a value
for any column in this row. The second row of this eTemplate will be
automatically repeated, once for each record, provided it has been set
properly, as in the tutorial. (Follow links on day 5 for more
information).

I know I should not be mailing you directly, but I have not been getting any response in the forum.

You posted the same message 3 or more times. Yes, it’s frustrating to
not get a response, but if no-one could help you the first time,
nothing is going to change the more times you post. More likely, you
will be ignored. If you have more information, such as sample output
of your code, or the export of your row template, maybe someone can
give you more help.

Hello Nathan, many apologies for my repetitive postings. But I have been posting updated versions trying to explain where am I stuck as of that moment. I did not know that we can export the template in this way, I have exported how the XML of the template.

It appears that I have index.rows template coming twice, once on the top and again at the end.

Please take a look at the XML of the template listed below.

You have somehow managed to get your rows template inside your index template.
Your rows template looks correct.
I advise that you delete your index template, and try it again.
Do not try to put anything but the nextmatch widget on your index page.
