I have been using Egroupware in my company for more than 5 years - since 1.4
version. Then 1.6 and now we use 1.8 since more than a year.
I would like to upgrade to community version 14.1.
In release notes I have read that I need to use the free groups management
tools to properly upgrade.
You can use the free group app, or you settle with groups you currently use.
I have been sending the statistics information regularly many years - but 2
days ago I
started preparing to do the upgrade but I unconsciously have deleted the ID
number which was very long number (!). The page is now saying that the
submission
information was sent less then 1 day ago and the ID filed is empty (!) - so
I cannot do this anymore.
If you delete ID field, it is empty, that’s the purpose of deleting it,
to make anonymous submissions, but that does no longer entitle you to
free groups app …
Could you please tell me what can I do now to have access to the downloading
page of free management tool?
You can restore the submit ID by looking up your install ID in Admin >>
Site configuration and then run it through the following command php -r
"echo sha1(’<- replace with your install ID ->’);"
Next time you submit make sure that ID is there again, and you will get
credentials for the repo.
