Looking for some help with getting EGW to connect with my google apps
email
account. I have read the threads related to this issue, but most are
dated
3+ years and are solutions for earlier releases. I have tried most of the
work arounds but have not been able to connect to my inbox
EGW 1.8.001, PHP5
IMAP
Hostname: imap.gmail.com
Port: 993
Username: user@domain.biz
Password: ***
Encrypted Connection: TLS
Do not validate certificate: checked
Server supports mailfilter: checked
Port: 2000
SMTP (configured OK - outgoing test email successful)
Hostname: ssl://smtp.gmail.com
Port: 465
Authentication Req: checked
Username: user@domain.biz
Password: ***
No issues sending messages, only getting inbox and folders. When I log
in,
my email app reads “The connection to the IMAP Server failed!!” I click
on
the INBOX and I get “loading” next to the menu without any progress.
