Listmates, Ralf,
I have an interesting address I'm trying to add to egw, and I don't know if I
am entering the Country information right. Basically I have an aunt in Merizo
Guam. Guam is a US Territory over by the Philippine Islands in the Western
Pacific. Looking in egw, I found the country of “United State Minor Outlying
Islands” but was unsure of whether that was intended to include territories
such as Guam or was intended to be limited to near mainland islands such as the
situation of with Cuba and the US Naval Base, etc…
From an application standpoint, I know it won't matter, but I wanted to make
sure I understood what the “United States Minor Outlying Islands” was intended
to encompass so I wasn’t setting myself up for more trouble further down the road.
So, what was the intent of the country designation "United States Minor
Outlying Islands", and where should Guam go?? Thanks.
