Hi Paul,
I thought that asyncservices.php cron was all that was needed for infologs to
send email when people are not logged in… Is there something else needed
for configuration here?
Normal notifications work fine, and the test job in Asynchronous services
admin area sends email like it should. Sending email as a user works fine,
PHP mail in a script works fine…
What method is being used to send mail in this context? PHP mail()? SMTP?
What table is consulted for these settings?
If you only have personal mail accounts, none of them will be available
for sending asynchronious notifications (because their data is encrypted
with session password of user).
In that case you need to create an SMTP only account for all users:
- as (email-)admin create a new account
- in wizard click on [manual entry] and then [skip IMAP]
- enter SMTP details and store it for all users
That account will then be used to send mail, if no user session is
available (or user has no mail account).
