INfolog hook under custom app

Our existing apps hook infolog using the hook call
$GLOBALS[‘egw’]->hooks->process(array(
‘location’ => ‘matter_view’,
‘app’ => ‘matters’,
‘view_id’ => ‘mat_id’,
‘mat_id’ => $content[‘mat_id’],
‘view’ => ‘matters.matters_ui.view’
));

The new infolog is not rendering to the screen. It appears the header et2 JS files are not being called/loaded. I have included egw_framework::validate_file(’.’,‘app’,‘infolog’); but still no luck. Hook is processing fully all the way through infolog.index and the infolog.index code is being included but it is not rendering as a result of the missing header et2.js files as per my comparison with addressbook.

Any thought on how to get these files to with src=“http://pre-prod.rwdev.ca/logs/system/phpgwapi/js/jsapi/egw.js” id=“egw_script_id” data-etemplate=".

I assume your “matters” app is NOT using et2.

All egw*.js files are always included, nothing to do here.

It might be that eTemplate2 includes are not loaded, because your app
already called for the header. You could try

egw_framework::validate_file('.', 'etemplate2', 'etemplate');

before your app calls the header.

Thought there might be more problems …

WHat does a header call usually look like? (sorry out of practice) I put egw_framework::validate_file(’.’, ‘etemplate2’, ‘etemplate’); at the first line of the main app ui class’s constructor without desired results. Below appear to be the missing js files for et2. I will brute force my way through addressbook and determine when these JS files are being added although I suspect upon utilization in the etempalte and try to determine why not being added when being called through my app. Alternative we can update our app to use et2 firste then brute force our way to figure out bug if not resolved by update.

Any other suggestions Ralf :-). Thanks in advance. Really loving the new ET2 so it will be worth the pain.
