Infolog linkage to Project

When inserting an infolog by hand, besides an entry in egw_links, what is required to make the new infolog show up in the project?

I see the linking to the project from infolog view, but from the project the new infolog does not show.

Possibly a related question would be “How to build the proper value in the info_id field?” Maybe leaving this field blank is the cause of my problem?

By hand, I hope you mean using infolog_bo->write(). Don’t try to hit
the DB directly.
Get info_id like this:
$bo = new infolog_bo();
$info_id = $bo->write(…);

You need the info_id before you can properly create a link.
