Instalation of EGW EPL CE question (have error)

Hi, I am trying to install EGW CE on fresh debian 9.0. I have installed php 7.0 and mariadb and connected repos. all downloaded but I got:
Configuration package egroupware-epl (17.1.20180209) …
grep: /etc/lsb-release: No such file or directory
dpkg: error in processing egroupware-epl (–configure):
_ subprocess instal lscript post-installation returned error code 10_
Errors during configuration:
_ egroupware-epl_
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
I amtrying to solve this issue for some hours already… .strace here:

APT don’t even ask for mysql credentials … can you point me to the place to start - egw log shows notking just date “sob, 3 mar 2018, 07:08:37 EST” etc.

I can’t really say anything about your problem.
But:

Why Debian 9.0? The current version is 9.3.
Why have you installed PHP and DB? The egroupware installation does this with.

I have just installed for testing:

• debian 9.3 current/updated (from debian-9.3.0-amd64-netinst.iso )
• EGroupware from opensuse-repo

I haven’t been able to detect any problem.

Are you getting “grep: /etc/lsb-release: No such file or directory” message? Is it stoper for instalator?

error “grep: /etc/lsb-release: No such file or directory” is generated in Debian 9 in line 8 of config file in deb package - workaround is to create empty lsb-release file … but still package cannot be installed …

It looks like line 10 of postinst gives error - so apache2 reload function …

db-get gives error in my config - but: “dpkg-reconfigure --force egroupware-epl” worked … hmm

Do you know what can be the couse of “Database error
ADOdb::PConnect(localhost:3306, egroupware, $Password, egroupware) failed.

login from header.inc.php works from command line …

I heve purgerd and installed again phpmyadmin and … it worked … lol
