You probably use our RPM packages, with install a Apache configuration
file /etc/httpd/conf.d/egroupware.conf
It contains the open_basedir restriction for security reasons, and does
NOT include the session.save_path there (again for security reasons).
So you have now two possibilities:
a) ignore the error message from the install check (most secure option)
b) add the session.save_path to open_basedir (less secure and also
necessary if you want to list sessions)
By the way, which EGroupware version is that?
