Internal error since Ubuntu 18.04 --> 20.04

Hi,
using Egroupware community edition 17.1.20190808 on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS.
Since I’ve upgrade to Ubuntu 20.04, when I want to apply/record changes on any windows/menu/events… I get an internal error or an invalid SQL syntax:

Ubuntu 20.04 with a container-less old install of 17.1 tries to run 17.1 code under PHP 7.4.

We still not using PHP 7.4 for the current 20.1!

If you want to use Ubuntu 20.04 with EGroupware, you need to update to a 20.1 installation using Docker.
