Invalid template directory

Good Morning everyone,
I am kind of a noob and i ran into a problem that i need assistance with. when i try to open site manager i get the error " Invalid template directory ‘/home/margx34/public_html/egroup/sitemgr/sitemgr-site/templates/’ !!! ". I have already searched but have not come across a solution. Any help or advice is highly appreciated.

Hi,

this mailing list / forum is about EGroupware development, you ask a
usage questions. Please so so at the egroupware-user list/forum.

The messages comes if your template directory (stated in the error
message) contains neither a main.tpl nor a index.php file.

As the directory ends with a /, problem seems to be there’s no template
specified. It should end with the template-name.

Did you ever get any helpful ideas to solve the problem?

I hit the same thing.

I think this is an issuie for developers as the installation obviously doesn’t work.

So, I fixed it after some thought and a lot of guessing.

Basically, I had not changed the defaul ttmeplate (it was idots, I think).

By simply changing template to JA Purity, I get a page and not the hilarious invalid template directory message.

I still think this is an issue, it should work straight out of the box, really.
