Hello,
Thanks for alerting us to PERP. It seems like a great application on
top of the egroupware framework. My concerns over something like this
though is if it is a fork per se or if it will continue to operate on
top of the core egroupware. We did a simple mod to 1.2 (adding values
to pm_status in project manager:
class.uiprojectmanager.inc.php
$$this->status_labels = array(
’’ => lang(‘All’),
‘pending’ => lang(‘Pending-Customer’),
‘quote’ => lang(‘Quote-LGM-Pending’),
‘active’ => lang(‘Active’),
‘hold’ => lang(‘Hold’),
‘complete’ => lang(‘Complete’),
‘archive’ => lang(‘Archive’),
‘nonactive’ => lang(‘Nonactive’),
‘template’ => lang(‘Template’),)
And already we find that this creates unexpected useability issues (not
code) in 1.4.
With egw doing as well as it is and moving quickly, unless you can spend
a fair bit of time reimplementing your changes on each version, I
think it better to stay with the releases!
Thanks
Charles
You could try Perp based on egroupware
