Hi Ingo,
Hi group.
Just wondering whether I am the only one experiencing some anormalities with iOS7…
Following test environment with iOS6 iPod, iOS7 iPad, iOS7 iPhone and KDE KOrganizer 4.11.2 and the latest trunk eGroupware.
Scenario:
-
I create a calendar event in iOS7 iPad (or any other device).
-
The event shows up in eGroupware and all other devices. Good.
-
I move the event in any device or delete it.
-
It will be reflected in iOS6, eGroupware and KOrganizer, NOT in ANY iOS7 device other than the one that I moved it or deleted it on. BAD.
So, it would appear that iOS7 does not get any changes to events from eGroupware. And because it gets reflected on any non-iOS7 device or the desktop clients, it would further appear that this is a new bug - ah sorry FEATURE - from iOS7.
I am happy to provide some further testing with logs nd traces over the next few days.
You need to switch CalDAV/CardDAV logging on in preferences and post the
loggs. iOS7 should do - like iOS6 - sync-collection REPORTS using
sync-tokens. Theses sync-token change, if anything in a collection
changes and trigger a re-sync of just the changed ressources.
BTW, the same issue applies to reminders, aka ToDos. I have not yet tested contacts.
Using eSyc, everyting works fine.
I was just wondering whether anybody else was experiencing the same behaviour or whther this issue is known.
DAViCal was experiencing some difficulties with iOS7 too, but this seem to be solved.
Looked into DAViCal problems. I dont think they are related. We have
supported-component-set since a long time, as our collections support
only a single type.
So I’m not aware of any problems with iOS7.
Are you using Trunk or 1.8? 1.8 is again a bit behind and I will
probably not backport latest changes from 11.1 or Trunk to 1.8, as I’m
busy with the new release.
