LDAP addressbook/contact issue using trunk@42836

When trying to add a new contact using the LDAP backend, I now receive the
following error:

“Error saving the contact! Object class violation: so_ldap: 645”

On the LDAP server, the following errors are recorded in the log

Entry
"uid=a253b46c93a414bf49c11253b97d0a53,cn=example_east,ou=shared,ou=contacts,ou=example.com,ou=egroupware,dc=example,dc=com"
missing attribute “uidNumber” required by object class “posixAccount”

Entry
"uid=a253b46c93a414bf49c11253b97d0a53,cn=example_east,ou=shared,ou=contacts,ou=example.com,ou=egroupware,dc=example,dc=com"
missing attribute “gidNumber” required by object class “posixAccount”

Entry

group view that I select, different sets of icons (representing the available
rights) appear. If I am looking at the listing for a personal contact, but I
am under the “All” contacts group view, then I don’t see the edit or delete
icons (and have no way to modify the contact). However, if I look at the same
contact while under the “Personal” contacts group view, the icons to edit,
delete, etc. are present.

Also, when I click on the edit icon, the window that comes up and all the
fields are empty, which is strange. All of this was working as recently as
20130529021526Z (the modifyTimestamp from the last contact I added before any
of these issues).

Again, I realize this is trunk and expect issues. I just want to make sure I
communicate with devs early to update issues before they get too old and hard
to track down.

Are you sure that changed with my latest ldap changes?

We stopped using these action icons, in fact eTemplate2 removes them
completely. Can you check if context menu shows identical behavior.

Thanks Ralf. I’ll need to take a look at my install then. Perhaps I’m not
converted over to eTemplate2, for some reason

Does eTemplate2 need to be enabled, or eTemplate need to be enabled?
