Lists rendering error

I don’t know if it is the last update, but from yesterday to today my user can’t see Infolog/Address book/File manager (and others) entries.
Oyher users are ok, just mine (and admin one) is affected.
Calendar renders fine, in other apps I see the total of enrtries bus eems like there is an error rendering data.

I changed browser/pc and I reastarted machine that host egroup. Ah, if I access from a mobile browser with that user, I see everything ok. I’m getting crazy.

Any help??

Have you tried to delete the browser cache on the affected browsers/machines?

As I said, I tried with different machines/browsers. I gave up and I had to restore an yesterday backup. Now that user works again…

Can you elaborate a bit more what the problem is, eg. attach a screenshot?

I can’t restore to the troubleshooting version, 'cause restoring the previous database I had another bad surprise: I lost every responsible field value… so I can’t take screenshot, I just retored all the missed field and I don’t want to do it again.

Problem was with EGroupware version 19.1.20190917.
Some app views were empty; counter on top right gives right value of records loaded. You can scroll the view, but every row is blank. It is the same in infolog and in project view and administrator. Calendar view work fine.
It affects only an user. If I log with other user on same browser, everything is ok.
If I try the fault user on other machines, same problem.
Because I noticed it in my first log in in nthe day, I think can be side effect of automatic update (is it possilble?).

@gflower: Could you please open console log from browser dev tools and check if you get errors in the console when opening/refreshing those infolog or projectmanager lists? It does make sense to check also your web server logs if any error happens.

@RalfBecker: I don’t think this might have anything to do with those nm size changes although can’t say it for sure as we don’t know what the error is in the console. There might be a js error which stops the execution.

hadi, as I said, I can’t restore the "wrong"database, 'cause backup/restore make me lose all the responsible field value.
If it happens again, I’ll check the console.
There is any log I can check, meanwhile (I didn’t delete anything)?

It happened again:

• created a new user with my user (and admin one);
• logged with that user;
• relogged with my user;
• lists are empty:

Same problem if I change machine/browser.

All ok if I use mobile template.

I believe the error on the first pic is not a problem, it will just show no Italian, but English error-messages, if you’re computer is not online anymore.

The second one is probably what screws up the lists.

@RalfBecker and @hadi.nategh, I was able to replicate the error:

It happens when you use “Excludes selected MIME-types” in file manager preference, “Collab editor settings” tab.
If I exclude, for example, pdf, and I have a pdf attached to a info log task, this generates the error above.

@gflower: I committed a patch for avoiding that js error, it will come with next maintenance release.

Make sure excluded mime types are type of string before splitting them, avoid js error "Uncaught typeError: ex_mime.split is not a function"

Ok, now it works if I set “Excludes selected MIME-types” in “Your preference”, but it make same beahviour of before if I set in “forced preferences”.

That (having no preferences) is what Hadi fixed. In the meantime exclude any mime-type to have a preference and you good 'til to get the fix with the next maintenance release.

to apply the patch I edited jsapi.js as in hadi patch (in docker filesystem, both in /egroupware amnd /egroupware-source).
