I have the Egroupware Community installation since 2008 and tried, occasionally, to really try to use the Notifications feature… which turned almost always to be kinda underwhelming, and, most attempts I ended up just decreasing the visibility of notification popups altogether, and so the users went on to ignore them; but they were still enabled in Infolog (to notify users of something being delegated or related to them), and now, as I was trying to get around to try another time, i noticed that all of my users have massive queues of notifications, unread.
With the newer generation of EGW, it seems that the notification mechanism got improved however; but now, my users’ notification queues have massively been pushed to and require multiple passes of - load page - show notifcations - delete all - reload page steps (as a single pass seems to only allow to delete last 50 of them)
Is there a way to administratively delete/purge all the notifications amassed over the years and years?
Could there be some ways of limiting this growth of notifications stored, to say, a month since last login?
I currently use 21.1.20220905, on PCs with Firefox (as fresh as possible) and on mobile devices whatever actually works - Chrome, Safari or Firefox.
Hopefully, this makes sense
